Medications in School

PRESCRIPTION MEDS

If your child requires prescription medication during the school day, we require a written order by the child's medical provider and parent's written authorization. Please make arrangements to drop off the medication with a school nurse and be sure it is in the original prescription bottle

Epi-pens, asthma inhalers, emergency diabetic or seizure medications are exceptions to this rule, but must have written medical, parental and health office permission. All medications are required to be in their original packaging.
