Brookline Health Offices
Hello CSDA and RMMS Families! Please see to the tabs for more info and feel free to reach out any time with the information provided to the right.
Help protect yourself from getting and spreading respiratory viruses, like rhinoviruses, flu or covid-19 by following these steps:
- Wash your hands often with soap and water for 20 seconds.
- Avoid touching your eyes, nose, and mouth with unwashed hands.
- Avoid close contact such as kissing, hugging, and sharing cups or eating utensils with people who are sick, and when you are sick.
- Cover your coughs and sneezes with a tissue or your upper shirt sleeve, not your hands.
- Clean and disinfect frequently touched surfaces, such as toys and doorknobs, especially if someone is sick.
- Stay home when you are sick.
- Consider wearing a mask around other people if you have respiratory symptoms.
Return to School Requirements
For a student to return to school after an illness, they must be fever free (less than 100), vomit free, and/or diarrhea free for a minimum of 24 hours without the use of any medication. They must feel well enough to participate in classroom activities. If your child has been diagnosed with strep throat, they must be on antibiotics for at least 24 hours before returning to school. Please contact your child's school nurse for guidance if needed.
