I want my child to do another year of preschool. Can they register the following year for Kindergarten?
When you register your child, we will place them in the grade that they are of age for and will follow up with a screening at the end of the year. Based on the results and enrollment numbers it will be up to the Principal to make that final decision. **Please do not assume your child can go to Kindergarten after going to private preschool for another year. We always recommended you bring your child to school.
My child never had Kindergarten but is of age for 1st grade. Can they go to Kindergarten?
The answer above applies here as well. Placement will not be determined until administration has information regarding screenings and enrollment. Typically these decisions happen at the end of June and beginning of July.
My child is very close to the cut off and we want to register him/her early, can we?
Typically, no. We only register students who are of age for Kindergarten. Only under extreme circumstances will early registration be allowed.
My child is ready academically but not socially for Kindergarten or vice versa. Should I register them?
Yes! Children develop at different rates. Kindergarten is a year of growth and learning!
